MEET OUR ANIMAL CARE COORDINATOR

Michael Anne Tawzer was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN, where her lifelong love for animals has shaped much of her life. As the Animal Care Coordinator for Your Local Fur Mama, she's spent the past six months ensuring that every kitten and puppy in the rescue receives the best possible care, from bottle-feeding neonates to socializing playful young fosters.

Currently a full-time cat mom, Michael Anne shares her home with her beloved feline, Monkey, and a new kitten, Murphy, who she just foster failed. She also cares for her precious stray "children" Sardine, Punkin, and Mr. O'Malley, along with her reptile crew—Blossom the bearded dragon and Anya the crested gecko.

When she's not busy caring for animals, Michael Anne loves cooking, getting creative with crafts, and spending quality time with her partner, Landon Marshall.

Her passion for animal care continues to shine through her work with YLFM, where she's making a difference one tiny life at a time.
