Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in the Your Local Fur Mama foster program or engaging with our SMS communications.
Program Participation
By joining the Your Local Fur Mama foster program and providing your contact information, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Participation in our foster program is voluntary and subject to our program guidelines.
SMS Communications
Your Local Fur Mama operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with foster caregivers and volunteers. By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Your Local Fur Mama. These messages may include but are not limited to animal care reminders, weight tracking requests, foster needs, program updates, and organizational announcements.
Message Frequency: Varies based on program needs
Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent
Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance or contact us directly
Opting out of SMS communications does not affect your participation in the foster program itself.
Limitation of Liability
Your Local Fur Mama is a volunteer-based animal rescue organization. We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted SMS delivery, as message delivery is subject to carrier availability. We are not responsible for any charges incurred by receiving our messages under your mobile plan.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation in our program following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active fosters of material changes.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
